She specialises in the support, distribution and promotion of audiovisual projects within international film production and distribution networks in Colombia, Chile, Argentina, Spain, Germany and France.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 2012, she joined \u00ab El Espejo \u00bb, an international short film festival in Bogot\u00e1, a television programme on a public channel and a platform for audience development. In 2014, she co-founded Colombia\u2019s first audiovisual and performing arts festival focusing on gender, sexual and post-pornographic dissidence<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She has lived in France since 2016 and, since 2022, has been part of the French collective of \u00ab Cin\u00e9astes Non Align\u00e9es \u00bb as a programmer and researcher specialising in female filmmakers from Latin America.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-paragraph\">Since 2017, she has been working on the distribution films from the Global South (Americas, Africa, Middle East).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since 2023, she has become increasingly involved in projects with live elements: performances and improvisations centred on sound experimentation and active listening.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Director Patricia Menjura is a Colombian visual anthropologist who holds a degree in anthropology from the Javeriana University in Bogot\u00e1 and a master\u2019s degree in Cultural and Creative Industries from Paris VIII University.
